AT the end of May, more specifically the 26th to the 30th, Pepsi is presenting Lost In Karak at The LINC, Kuala Lumpur. They have teamed up with The Livescape Group and Hauntu to deliver what they promise to be an immersive pop-up experience located at the entrance of Hauntu that is "not for the faint of heart."
Malaysians should be no strangers to the urban tales of Karak, a haunted highway connecting Kuala Lumpur to the highlands of Genting. The Livescape Group and Hauntu's rendition of the tales will put participants to the test of an ultimate sacrifice in search of a pandemic cure. They will be brought through the hauntings of this lonely stretch of road, meeting spectral beings along the way.
Participants will have to test their fearlessness as they face the horrifying creatures that roam the infamous Karak highway, solve what is needed to complete the story and truly mark themselves as bold. Watch as this local folklore is brought to life through compelling storytelling, lifelike characters, and horrifying effects that will be sure to send shivers down the spines of those unwise enough to volunteer.
“As we head towards an endemic, Hauntu is excited to bring real-life experiences back to the masses, and partnering with Livescape is a great new way for us to open up our immersive offering” says Johnny, Head of Experience from Hauntu.
“We are also using this as an opportunity to support the arts – we all cannot imagine what they’ve gone through over the past 24 months and are excited to show you what we have in store,” says Iqbal Ameer, Group CEO of The Livescape Group.
For those concerned, The Livescape Group and Hauntu have taken all necessary measures to keep everyone safe and Covid-friendly. – The Vibes, April 16, 2022
