THE Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry will provide immediate approvals for complete applications under the Subsidised Diesel Control System (SKDS), which encompasses 33 categories of public and goods land transportation, said Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali.

In a statement, the domestic trade and cost of living minister said the application process is designed to be straightforward and swift, requiring companies to submit minimal information.

He assured applicants that verification is done immediately through integration with the Road Transport Department (JPJ) system.

“Eligible companies listed in the 33 types of qualifying public and goods land transportation are encouraged to apply promptly,” he said in the statement.

Applications can be submitted through the link, and approval letters will be issued instantly.

Applying companies can then proceed with fleet card applications from their preferred oil companies using the same system.

Armizan said transport companies that obtain SKDS approval before June 30 may apply to reimburse their expenses, using their receipts as proof of purchase, until they receive their fleet cards from the fuel companies.

“Reimbursements will be available starting July for those who obtain SKDS approval before June 30. The Finance Ministry will announce the application and reimbursement procedure soon,” he said.
